Dr. Dandiin Odgerel, Associate Professor, Director of the Child Development Support Center and Mongolian MELINC coordinator, discusses the need to introduce the social model of disability approach in Mongolia. She discusses the reseach and development of the Tanaka-Binet test to assess the intelligence and cognitive abilities in individual students and the surveys conducted in Mongolia on the need to support students with special needs in education and their needs to advance inclusive education. This research was used as reference material in the MELINC Erasmus+ application which aims at training teachers for inclusive education and establish centers for counseling teachers, students and parents.
